Validation Engineer

What you'll do

For an exponentially growing company located near Antwerp (Kempen) in the green energy sector, we are actively looking for an experienced validation engineer. 

Tasks

• Define test and validation programs for electrolyzer products during product development phase. Check compliance to specifications.
• Collaborate with various engineering disciplines to understand requirements and design changes. Decompose into a validation strategy, define tools and equipment and develop detailed procedures for execution.
• Strong understanding of related directives and standards (ATEX, functional safety,...) and implement into the validation strategy
• Take a lead role in planning and organizing validation campaigns. Attend and/or execute these in local test facility
• Complete required documentation and perform proper reporting of results to the different stakeholders
• Demonstrate a rigorous and independent personality

Who we're looking for

• At least 5 years of experience in the field of testing industrial equipment/prototypes;
• Multidisciplinary engineering profile (process, electrical, mechanical and control);
• Experienced with working out a testing and validation strategy as well as procedures for execution;
• ATEX knowledge.
