What you'll do

Misison

• Lead Model Coordination Meetings as a multidisciplinary BIM leader, acting as client point of contact for BIM on projects.

• Preparation and execution of project progress reports, model coordination, multidisciplinary clash detection reporting and preparation of dashboards for model control etc. as per client requirements.

• Support the Design Management team and BIM Manager on projects.

• Experience in setting up and executing B360 and ACC projects with advanced skills in Navisworks Manage, B360 Issues and formatting BEP.

• Auditing 2D CAD drawings and 3D models, especially work sent between stakeholders.

• Planning for collaboration between internal and external project partners. including designing, leading and implementing the collaboration process when required.

• Production and maintenance of live Navisworks NWF files with clash detection and associated reports for each 3D project with associated additional fly-through animations.

• Attend project meetings and presentations, both in person and online, to present 3D model progress, clash reports and dashboards etc. to project and client teams.

• Facilitating BIM coordination meetings with multidisciplinary teams, including preparing agendas, tracking and recording sessions, actions, etc.

• Leading BIM coordination meetings with the ability to challenge in a professional manner.

• Contribute to and question technical and structural issues related to the design/modelling process.

• Liaising with lead office clients on required model adjustments.

• Liaise with the design team to ensure that the models and details produced meet the required standard.

• Liaise with project managers and project team members to ensure projects are delivered within the required timelines.

Who we're looking for

• Preferably an Engineer or Architect.

• Have a minimum of 5 years of BIM coordination experience.

• With good organisational skills.

• Have strong communication skills: both for communicating with colleagues and externally.

• Your command of English and French is excellent

• Possess relevant qualifications or certificates in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit Architecture.

• Experience working within a contractor's drawing office (on-site), producing coordinated construction/installation shop drawings using 3D modelling software.

• Proven track record of live project hands-on delivery of modelling and coordination within BIM, AutoCAD and Revit environments.

• Proven track record in establishing and adhering to BIM model management.

• Proven track record in creating Project BIM Execution Plans (BEP).

• Proven track record of developing and complying with current corporate BIM and modelling standards, closely aligned with AEC industry standards.

• Excellent leadership skills (previous team leadership experience is essential).

• Ability to deal with periods of heavy workload for clients, and a strong desire to deliver on their projects.

• Ability to prioritise own workload and to work with deadlines.

• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit, including setting up drawing templates, building parametric part libraries and using intelligent channel and piping systems.

• Experience in dealing with multidisciplinary teams.

• Excellent understanding of civil, structural and architectural disciplines, including construction, trade packages and coordination between disciplines.

• Ability to fully coordinate architectural, structural and MEP services within the 3D modelling or 2D layout environment with sketch instructions from the project engineers.

• A basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems engineering and general construction work.

• Knowledge and work experience in coordination and routing of mechanical, electrical and public health services, including air conditioning, heating and ventilation, piping, power control, ICT control, lighting services, sewerage, fire services, etc.

• Dynamo, phyton,C++ and Forge are a plus
