Bid Engineer Low Voltage

What you'll do

You will be primarily responsible for bid calculation and offer preparation of low voltage switchgear.

You will get the opportunity to assist in project execution of projects for which you have prepared the bid. This will enable you to get a return of experience and get to learn the project business.

The bid part entails managing the development and submission of individual proposals for industrial main distribution panels on low voltage (400… 690V, so-called MCCs or Motor Control Centers). Next to that, you will be available to assist in sales activities and execute projects, on a case-by-case basis.

You’ll manage proposals, technically and commercially in a timely accurate manner. This entails analyzing and clarifying the technical tender and clauses, clarification of the customer specific requirements and running kick-off meetings with the project team and the customer. You'll also prepare technical offers and documentation and ensure that the projects are handed over to the
project execution team with all relevant documents.
Together with the project controller, you’ll be responsible for the preparation of the quotation calculation and terms and conditions.

Finally, you’ll provide technical sales support and assist in hand-over from sales/bid team to execution.

Who we're looking for

You are a great communicator with excellent spoken and written skills both in Dutch and English with a good understanding of French too.

You will have to manage multiple tasks and communicate with different internal and external stakeholders
