Project Engineer - Construction
What you'll do
As Project Manager, you will have the responsibility for the planning and management in a wide range of packages and/or complete industrial projects, ranging from small improvements to large projects. The management of your project can include multiple phases and/or specialization:
- Project feasibility: process description, plant layout, overall Time Schedule, procurement Strategy, financial plan.
- Project preparation phase: investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing and procurement.
- Project realization phase: project management; detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning management, operational management.
The Project Engineer reports to the Business Unit Manager for Belgium.
Your role will be to team-up with the Project Team, applying the project management methodology and using the best available Project Management tools in order to support our customers reaching their goals.
The project engineer defines technical solutions and organizes technical alignment on a variety of equipment, facilities, utilities, components, products, and systems for a diverse client base of manufacturers. He/she maintains and oversees part of / the complete project process; prepares status reports and delivers the documentation on schedule.
Who we're looking for
• Master of Construction, Mechanical, Electromechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent by experience• More than 3 years of relevant experience on industrial projects.
o Experience in Food and Beverages or Biotech industries is an asset
• Fluency in English and French.
o Ability to speak any additional European language is an asset
• Must possess excellent writing and verbal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse, multi-disciplined and multi-cultural groups
• Ability to effectively communicate with management and project team members
• Ability to interact with other project team members to achieve project goals
• Experience in project scheduling utilizing tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Experience in 2D and 3D Drawings coordination
• Ability to commute daily to Mouscron area.
• Open to commute daily about 1h maximum (one way from homeplace).
